The Addictive Pleasures of Survival: Navigating the Lower Levels of the Human Information Field

"Nature's design ensures our survival through pleasure, but it is this very pleasure that can bind us to lower instincts, making spiritual transcendence a challenge."

The lowest three levels of the Human Information Field (HIF)—the Ethereal Body, Emotional Body, and Cognitive Body—are intricately connected to our survival instincts. These levels are influenced by powerful drives such as aggression, force, and competition. Nature has crafted the activities associated with these lower levels to be not only essential for survival but also highly pleasurable and potentially addictive.

Survival and Pleasure

The activities at these lower levels are fundamental to our existence and are designed to be inherently pleasurable to ensure our engagement and motivation:

  • Sexual Activity: The pleasure derived from sexual activity serves as a powerful motivator for procreation. This intense pleasure encourages individuals to engage in reproductive activities, thereby ensuring the continuation of the species. The drive to seek out sexual pleasure is deeply ingrained, fulfilling a critical biological imperative.

  • Eating: Consuming food is vital for survival, and nature has made eating pleasurable through taste and satisfaction. This pleasure reinforces the need to eat regularly, which is crucial for maintaining physical health and energy. The enjoyment associated with eating helps sustain life by making it a rewarding experience.

  • Achieving Personal Power: The pursuit of power and influence can be deeply gratifying. Gaining power is often linked to increased self-esteem and social status, offering a sense of accomplishment and control. The pleasure derived from achieving personal power motivates individuals to seek and maintain their influence.

The Addictive Nature of Pleasure

These pleasurable experiences can become addictive due to their reinforcement of survival and self-preservation. The brain's reward system is activated during these activities, releasing neurotransmitters like dopamine that enhance feelings of pleasure and satisfaction. This can lead to a cycle where individuals continuously seek out these experiences, often prioritizing them over other aspects of life.

The addictive nature of these activities makes it challenging for individuals to move beyond the lower levels of the HIF. Since these activities are so pleasurable, many people remain focused on them throughout their lives, finding it difficult to transcend these lower-level concerns and address the deeper, more spiritual aspects of their being.

Transcendence Through Altered States

As a result, many individuals only experience detachment from these lower levels in altered states of consciousness, such as during dreams or after death. In these states, the mind can temporarily detach from the lower three bodies, allowing for a freer exploration of higher realms. This detachment can facilitate spiritual experiences and connections with the divine that are often obscured by the constant engagement with survival and pleasure-seeking behaviors.

Balancing Pleasure and Spiritual Growth

The pleasure derived from these lower-level activities ensures that individuals remain motivated to engage in them, which is vital for survival and species continuation. However, the challenge lies in balancing these primal pleasures with the pursuit of higher spiritual goals and transmuting the lower self. While the design of the lower three levels of the HIF ensures that survival needs are met through pleasurable and rewarding experiences, this very design can create obstacles to spiritual growth and transcendence.

By understanding the addictive nature of these pleasures and recognizing their role in survival, individuals can work towards achieving a balance. This balance involves integrating the pleasure of these experiences with a conscious effort to transcend the lower levels, paving the way for spiritual development and a deeper connection with higher realms.

In navigating the lower levels of the HIF, it is essential to acknowledge the role of pleasure in ensuring survival while also striving to transcend these primal instincts. This journey of balancing pleasure with spiritual aspirations is key to achieving a more profound sense of purpose and connection with the divine.
