Introducing My Memoir – A New US 'N' U Service

US 'N' U is excited to introduce a new project: My Memoir, a personalised memoir writing and editing service designed to help people transform their memories, experiences and existing material into a completed manuscript.

I offer a personalised service to help you write, develop and edit your memoir, bringing together your memories, stories, photographs and written material into a cohesive life story.

The idea for My Memoir developed through my recent work with Beryl Jackson on her memoir. Together, we brought her stories, photographs and existing writing into a completed book while ensuring that the finished memoir remained her story, told in her way.

My Memoir is designed for people at different stages of telling their story. Some people may already have substantial material written, while others have a lifetime of memories but need more assistance turning those experiences into a structured narrative.

Memoir Development Package

The Memoir Development Package is designed for people who have already written substantial material and would like assistance turning it into a finished manuscript.

The package includes a 90-minute consultation, writing and development of existing material, comprehensive editing, organisation of photographs, up to three rounds of revisions and preparation of a manuscript of up to 50,000 words for self-publishing.

The package is priced at $2,018.75, plus estimated publishing and cover costs, for a total of $2,392.75.

Life Story Package

The Life Story Package provides more extensive assistance for people with a story to tell but who may not yet have a developed manuscript.

This package includes a 90-minute initial consultation, ongoing interviews, development of the narrative and structure, significant writing and rewriting, comprehensive editing, organisation of photographs, up to three rounds of revisions and preparation of a completed manuscript of up to 50,000 words for self-publishing.

The package is priced at $2,956.25, plus estimated publishing and cover costs, for a total of $3,330.25.

Foundation Client Rate

To launch My Memoir, I am also offering a special Foundation Client Rate to a limited number of people.

For $750 plus estimated publishing costs, foundation clients can receive a tailored memoir development service based on their individual project. The estimated total cost, including publishing and cover costs, is $1,125.

This introductory rate is being offered while I establish My Memoir and develop a portfolio of completed projects. In return, foundation clients will be asked to provide honest feedback about their experience and, with their permission, allow a testimonial to be used to help promote the service.

You don't need to be a professional writer to create a memoir. You may have decades of memories, a collection of photographs, handwritten notes, partially completed chapters or simply stories you would like preserved for your family.

My role is to help bring those pieces together while ensuring that the finished memoir remains authentically yours.
